Pakistan has a subway! All rails come from Angang Group
On October 25, Pakistan's Lahore Rail Transit Orange Line Project's first subway whistle started, marking Pakistan's official entry into the "Metro Era". The rails required for this project are all produced by Angang Group.
The Orange Line project is 27 kilometers long and has 26 stations. It is the first large-scale rail transit project signed and implemented under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor under the "Belt and Road" initiative. The project all adopts Chinese standards, Chinese technology and Chinese equipment. Anshan Iron and Steel Rail won the bid for the Orange Line project in 2016, and has supplied more than 8,000 tons.
