On February 6, international oil prices rose. At the close, light crude oil futures for March delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose $0.53, or 0.73%, to 73.31 yuan a barrel. London Brent crude futures for April delivery rose $0.60, or 0.77%, to $78.59 a barrel.
